Care Guide
Taking care of your gear keeps it looking sharp and in rotation for years. Most Vyrn pieces follow a few simple rules.
The Standard Protocol
- Turn garments inside out before washing.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors.
- Wash with similar color clothing.
- Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers.
- Skip fabric softener—it can break down technical and printed finishes.
- Air dry when you can, or tumble dry low.
- Do not dry clean.
System: CORE | PURE | NOVA
Includes: Organic Cotton Tees, Heavyweights, and Loopback
- Wash cold to prevent shrinking and keep colors strong.
- Avoid high‑heat drying; it can shrink cotton and age prints faster.
- If you need to iron, use low to medium heat and avoid ironing directly over any print.
System: MOSS | LUNA | TERA | SOLA
Includes: Brushed Fleece Architectures (Hoodies, Sweats)
- Wash inside out to protect the brushed interior.
- Use cold water and a gentle cycle.
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry to keep the fleece soft and reduce pilling.
- Avoid heavy loads with zippers or rough items that can rub the surface.
System: TIDE | FLOW
Includes: Recycled Technical Swim (Women’s & Men’s)
- Rinse with cool water immediately after use to remove any salt or chlorine residue. This prevents the degradation of technical fibers and helps maintain elasticity.
- Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle in cold water.
- Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
- Dry in the shade; avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
The Finish: Prints & Graphics (DTG / DTF)
Most Vyrn graphics use direct‑to‑garment (DTG) or direct‑to‑film (DTF) printing. Treat them gently to keep lines clean and colors rich.
- Always wash printed garments inside out.
- Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F or below), gentle cycle.
- Use mild detergent; avoid bleach, stain sticks on the print, and fabric softener.
- Air dry when possible. If you use a dryer, choose low heat and remove promptly.
- Never iron directly on the print. If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and use low heat.
- Don’t dry clean printed garments.
The Finish: Embroidery
Some pieces use embroidery instead of a printed graphic.
- Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Wash with similar soft garments—avoid items with zippers, hooks, or rough surfaces that can catch threads.
- Do not wring embroidered items; gently reshape and lay flat or tumble dry low.
- If ironing is needed, place a cloth or towel over the embroidery and use low heat.
Longevity Protocols
- Wash only when needed; spot clean small marks instead of full washes.
- Store garments folded or on wide hangers so they keep their shape.
- Keep prints and embroidery away from rough surfaces and Velcro.
